Landscapes

I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in this beautiful state and I am blessed to call it home. I was raised in Marin County, renowned for it's incredible location: An hour north of San Francisco, an hour south of some of the best wineries in the world (Napa), hours from Lake Tahoe and iconic national parks like Yosemite, but most importantly, a half hour from the beautiful coastline of California! Growing up here gave me the opportunity to explore some of the most scenic and iconic locations in the world and I will never take that for granted. With beautiful views of the city, iconic redwoods, and gorgeous coastal landscapes, this state really has it all.

Fresh beauty opens one’s eyes wherever it is really seen, but the very abundance and completeness of the common beauty that besets our steps prevents its being absorbed and appreciated. It is a good thing, therefore, to make short excursions now and then to the bottom of the sea among dulse and coral, or up among the clouds on mountain-tops, or in balloons, or even to creep like worms into dark holes and caverns underground, not only to learn something of what is going on in those out-of-the-way places, but to see better what the sun sees on our return to common everyday beauty.

Seascapes

When people think of California, one of the many things that may come to mind is the beautiful beaches and coastline. As much recognition as this state gets for it's beautiful weather and coast views, I believe it deserves all that and more. My parents used to take us to the beach on the weekends when we were young, and as I got older I really started to appreciate the ocean for all that it was. The coastlines of Califronia are bold, poowerful, and somehow portray a sense of history and life in these areas. See what I mean below!

Those who live by the sea can hardly form a single thought of which the sea would not be part.
